The Priestly Prayer of Jesus: A reading of the Bible in Troubled Times

I felt compelled to read from John’s version of the Last Supper. We currently live in troubled times, in the World, as a nation and personally. I just wanted to point out that even before Christ’s darkest hour, He thought about each and everyone of those who believes in His name. What is called the “Priestly Prayer” of the Lord Jesus is interesting because it feels like in the middle of this prayer, the camera “pans out” to just Jesus praying to God, and praying to each of the elect on a global scale through the ages. In a strange sense, we are there at the Last Supper with Him. Please enjoy and God bless!
